INTECO PTI receives order for Ladle Scrap Preheater

INTECO PTI received an order to supply a tailor-made Ladle Scrap Preheating device coming from an undisclosed producer of steel.

Despite supplying all necessary key equipment (e.g. gas train, controls, burner, lid, software, etc.), the order also includes a detailed CFD analysis which will not only help to design the optimal burner power but will clearly help to elaborate the scrap preheating process in the most safe and economical way.

This new and innovative technology will contribute to improving the melt shop productivity, metallic yield, and alloy consumption etc.

This technology is in line with INTECO PTI´s strategy on delivering innovation as well as to provide consistent process and service support.
