INTECO PTI RECEIVED FAC FROM CLEVELAND CLIFFS COATESVILLE FOR THEIR LIME INJECTION SYSTEM

Cleveland Cliffs in Coatesville, PA needed a solution to get lime in their EAF. The solution provided by INTECO PTI included a 300 cuft injection vessel to inject their material. Pressure vessel is capable of injecting over 15,000 lbs. per heat at a rate greater than 500 lbs./min. The lime injection system has been running since mid-November 2022.

After a very successful ramp up with zero plugging issues the customer has issued Final Acceptance Certificate.  Inteco PTI will continuously provide process support as well as necessary spare parts and repairs along with yearly inspections and service.
